New Project for farms expansion

Got here around June 3rd and started working.  Got put on concrete.  On the Walls crew.
Here is a few of the pics I have got so far.
Digging and pouring the rat slab right behind it.

The dust in above pic is from a second haul truck that just drove by. For those that have asked the rat slab, in this instance, preforms the following tasks:  Keeps soil  solid in the rains, since footings need to set on virgin or engineered fill, not mud.  Also speeds up the forming process giving a firm base to work on, and finally lowers cost of materials.

Also a couple of shots of our crane.  Just a little one right.  Well not quite Here is one brother walking past the block, the boom goes down when ever there is a chance of Thunderstorms.  When boom is laid out all the way it can reach both ends of the construction site and still pick 9000 lbs.  We use it to fly in our gang forms.  Sometimes we put a 3.4 yard bucket on it to pour with.  Great tool and the operators are wonderful.  Real precise.

Refresher:

Just thought I would update from January

Oh Look its Mr Safety.

New job new place

From blistering hot to freezing cold.
Having fun in a new location. I was assigned to a boiler plant job. We have been working on it for two months. In between we have built several forms for the new building and some precast forms for the tunnel. Also as a added bonus us newbies get a series of five lectures, the guys giving them are very experienced. Such a privilege.
Here are some pics of the boiler plant:

Oh First the start a bad snow storm

Visited the English group to hear the special talk.
Here are some friends we made.

This sister is a day commuter to Bethel, she works in the construction office, at 25 she has a degree in architecture.

You might recognize this guy, was a roofer in New Orleans relief work.
Getting the moment right, what it is all about.

Back to the local kingdom hall. Here we find a second day commuter. Works in house keeping.
Very friendly in the congregation as we can see here.

Above we say good buy to the Knapps. A nice friend. Tony worked diligently in plumbing and Tracy in paintura. As usual we celebrate by going to McDonalds. Hmgh.

Below is some shots from around Ecuador.
Haven't been traveling, but others have and here are some of their pictures.

Really it is worthwhile to go back to the 84 or so yearbook and read about the work here in Ecuador. Really reminds you how when Jah opens a territory, it will have certain success.
May Jah be wit all of you back home.
Thanks for your encouragement.
